Being the first in my family to attempt to break the cycle of poverty. The videos and photos of my family and I growing up will forever be cherished. It's a great way to see how far we've come and to also know that future family members will be able to see us alive and in motion. I want to bring that surreal experience to others as well. It really does make capturing the special moments of others that much more important.
P.S. - By the way, my name is pronounced like the big wave tsunami just without the "i" at the end haha, so like soo-nom! 🫶
P.P.S. - Pictured next to me is my sugar momma. Without her I'd be out on the streets in a cardboard box. 😂 But seriously though, she's the love of my life and is 100% behind my vision. I wouldn't be where I am today without her. ❤️
Shounam's Story
Hey, let's just get right into it! I come from a small family of five and I'm the oldest sibling of two younger brothers.
I'm a first-generation college student with a college degree in Interactive Media Technologies. I worked in catering for weddings & business events for three years back in high school, as a resident assistant & as a digital marketing intern during college, as a pre-loader at UPS for a year, and as a digital content producer at a news station after college. A lot of different jobs along the way to get to this point. During all of that, I was consistently developing my business, photography, videography, and post-production skills through a variety of once-in-a-lifetime experiences over the last decade in this business alongside my younger brother, Jey.
At 25 years old, I became a full-time videographer/business owner, and it wouldn't have been possible without you! Your once-in-a-lifetime day deserves to be captured to its entirety and completely stress-free!
It's soooo fun to put smiles on people's faces and to get the privilege to view the world through a lens of joy, faith, and abundance after so many hardships growing up.

Meet Videographer & Business Owner, Jey Ches.
Hi, my name is Jey Ches and I love Jesus!!! I've done mission trips all around the world through an epic church I served with and can't wait to continue doing work for the kingdom through all things leading to marriage & a happy family life!
I come from a small family of five. I'm the middle child between my two brothers. I love filming weddings and am extremely thankful for the blessings I've received and witnessed. I've worked in the Hy-Vee meat department, catered weddings, business events, and more back in high school and through my early twenties.
Recently, I've filmed church events, mission trips, worship events, and near a decade worth of weddings alongside my brother and we are finally going full time!
I love sports, attending church services, hanging out with friends, and producing creative projects for others.
I would love to be a part of your wedding day! 😇
Company Present & Future Plans
If a couple specifically wants Shounam and/or Jey to film and edit their wedding day personally. There is an investment threshold that is required.
With the demand of so many wedding inquiries every month, and couples inquiring 2+ years for their date. Shounam and Jey have expanded their videographer recommendation list to meet the general needs of most couples that want general wedding videography needs during and after their wedding day. Recommended videographers have previous wedding experience, with a wedding portfolio to show, to make sure they understand where and when to be before crucial moments happen. They will also have shadowed us at several weddings prior to making it on the list. It's super important they also understand how to adjust camera settings (ISO, aperture, shutter speed, sound levels, and more) to capture moments appropriately. These videographers will meet the basic needs while sticking within the budget of most couples.
Lastly, just simply hiring any wedding videographer won't do for your wedding day. All it takes is less than 30 seconds to miss shots, and potentially ruin a wedding day, it's heavily recommended that you'll want a highly vetted wedding vendor team on your day to make sure all goes well.
